I’m not sure if you have children that are very resistant to bath time, but I do. I have a 2-year-old that has given me a hard time getting a bath, and a 6-year-old that doesn’t want to slow down to take a bath.
I have found a solution that has transformed our bath time and you wouldn’t think colorful Lil’ Fishys would change everything, but they have.
Lil’ Fishys is giving away a Lil Fishy Aquarium and a grab bag of Lil Fishy toys to 3 winners! You can enter below.
How to Change Bath time Struggles into Bath time Giggles with Bath Toys
My children were so excited to finally get our Lil’ Fishys from our mail lady. We weren’t sure what we were getting, but I knew when I heard their squeals they were going to love them.
We received a package full of colorful Lil’ Fishys of all kinds. Mini Lil’ Fishys, Lil’ Fishys that had spouts and spouted water, and regular Lil’ Fishys. We also got a fish bowl to play with them in. My 2-year-old was wondering what in the world these things were.
These are little battery powered fish that will swim, twirl, spout, and go crazy in bath tubs, pools, or any other volume of water. They are so cute!
I originally has another idea for using these Lil’ Fishys, but when it was bath time I thought I would pop these in the bath with him and see what happens. It was magic, no screaming, fighting the water, or him trying to jump out of the tub.
Lil’ Fishys Bath Toys solved one of my biggest struggles
I knew then that I would be writing about something entirely different than I had previously thought right then. These Lil’ Fishys solved one of my biggest struggles I have have with some of my kids.
My 6-year-old wanted to see what all the laughing was about in the bath tub, so she came and saw the Lil’ Fishys swimming around and had to jump in too.
(Please note: if your child has longer hair make sure they know to keep the Lil’ Fishys far from their hair.We had a few get caught in her hair and were able to remove them easily, but the Lil’ Fishys needed some doctoring.) This was also noted on the package, as well that these are recommended for ages 3 and up.
Now my kids are asking to take a bath just so they can play with their Lil’ Fishys. We will be buying more to add to our collection. I am in great appreciation to Lil’ Fishys for helping our bath time go smoothly now.
If we had a pool I am sure these would be in the pool as well. These could be used in so many different ways, but for us it turned out struggles into giggles.
