When I was little my Step-dad was in the Air Force and we lived far from what I considered “home”. My home was in Kentucky but we lived in Texas for a time and Arizona, very far from home. I am home now, but this memory reminded me that there are so many people far from “home” on Thanksgiving. I wonder who they have to spend the day with, what they are going to be eating, and more.
There are many different ways to celebrate Thanksgiving. Whether you’re far from home or close, you have to eat. I remember many times that my mom would cook a traditional dinner, and then there were Thanksgivings where we would go to a restaurant and eat. A restaurant? Yes. To be honest I really liked eating out because there was no clean up and less stress, we could spend more time talking and catching up together. Even being home now my big family will meet together at a restaurant on Thanksgiving and eat together, we also bless our waiter with a special Thanksgiving day tip.
This year I found out that my favorite Italian restaurant Buca di Beppo was going to be open and serving Thanksgiving dinner. Buca di Beppo Thanksgiving family style feast that has the perfect Italian twist. The Buca di Beppo Thanksgiving feast includes: Thanksgiving Feast includes classic Thanksgiving items with an Italian twist, such as: Sliced white meat turkey, homestyle gravy, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, spicy Italian sausage stuffing, green beans and cranberry sauce and even pumpkin pie! They can do it all for you this year.
One great thing about eating out is you can make Thanksgiving reservations (starting at 11:00 a.m.), show up, eat, talk, and you don’t even have to clean up or wash dishes.
If eating out in a restaurant isn’t your style of celebrating Thanksgiving and you still don’t want to cook all that food Buca di Beppo offers a Thanksgiving Party Pan Feast to go. You don’t even have to get out of the car (at most locations).
So if you are far from home at Thanksgiving this year or close, find some friends and celebrate your blessings together. Make it fun, casual, and stress-free. Thanksgiving can be celebrated in so many ways, make this year one to remember!
