I have another favorite recipe to share with you. Around Christmas time every year my kids and I make Marshmallow chocolate chip bars. They are exactly how they sound, gooey, and marshmallow goodness. This recipe is so easy, and really takes no skill or much time to make. These are sure to be a hit anywhere you take these, that’s if they make it out of the house. The recipe also has a printable card at the bottom of this post.
Ingredients:
- 1 Box of Yellow Cake Mix, any brand
- 1 cup packed Brown Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Light Corn Syrup
- 2 Eggs
- 1 cup Miniature Marshmallows
- 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cup Butterscotch chips ( if you don’t like butterscotch use a full cup of chocolate chips)
Directions are below.
Directions:
- Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees
- Grease 13 x 9 inch pan with cooking spray
- Place cake mix, brown sugar and corn syrup in a large mixing bowl.
- Break eggs into a 1 cup measuring cup then fill measuring cup with water until it reaches 2/3 cup. Add the egg mixture to the mix in the large bowl.
- Use an electric mixer and mix on medium for 1 minute until well mixed.
- Spread into greased pan.
- Sprinkle marshmallows and chocolate chips on top of the batter.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes
Yields about 24 bars
You can serve warm or cool!
