Cancer Sucks! My family was hit with the word cancer in December 2010. At that time my baby girl was 1, and our other two kids were 8 and 6. My husband was diagnosed with Diffused Large B-cell Lymphoma. He had a tumor in his right tonsil, and was considered stage 3. You can read about our journey here. Every year we walk in the “Light the Night” fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. This organization helped us beyond more than we could have asked. They helped with co-pays, and prescription drugs that were needed after chemo treatments for comfort. They have always been there to answer any of my questions I may have had, no matter what they were. If you would please consider donating to this great cause it would make my heart sing! Here is our teams page, and photos of walks we’ve done in the past. Remember the red balloons are for the supporters, white balloons are for survivors, and gold is for those who fought the fight, but passed away.
